With nearly 34 years at NCUA and 7 as Executive Director, Mark was responsible for every aspect of this agency. His Knowledge, skills, and abilities relative to NCUA and credit unions, his recent agency experience, and his contacts, position him to help you enhance your interactions with NCUA and achieve success.
Mark knows the WHO, WHAT and HOW of the NCUA decision making process. That knowledge can assist you in achieving your goals when interacting with your regulator and/or insurer.

As Regional Director for 10 years in Albany, NY, Mark worked directly with over 2,000 federal and state chartered credit unions regulating, insuring and supervising them.
Most recently, Treichel served as Executive Director for over 7 years with oversight of all agency operations including the:
Examination and Supervision Program,
Field of Membership Expansion,
Regulation Development,
Human Resources, and
Information Technology
